Jesse Kallechy will be the undisputed number one goalie heading into fall camp for the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. That’s because the MOB traded goalie Joey Quattrocchi to the Drayton Valley Thunder for the rights to 20 year old goalie Jeff Holloway and future considerations. The MOB then flipped Holloway to the Prince George Spruce Kings for forward Carson Cooper. Cooper was part of the Saints team that beat the MOB in seven games of the Enerflex Cup finals. Cooper's rights were moved to Prince George to compelte the trade which saw the Saints adds defenseman Wes McLeod at the deadline.

Quattrocchi was 18-10-1-1 with a 2.82 goals against average, and a 906 save percentage. Cooper put up 21 points in 51 games last year as a 17 year old and already has a scholarship to Yale.
