We, the Northern Alberta Athletic Association, are committed to respecting the privacy of individuals who visit and use the Oilbarons Dreamhome Raffle web site. This statement informs how your personal information is collected and used in connection with the site, the purpose for which it is collected and used, with whom the information will be shared, how long your information will remain stored, and what security measures are in place to protect your information.
Security
The financial transaction used to complete
your ticket purchase is completed on a secured server operated by our
merchant account provider Moneris. Transactions with the server are
protected via SSL encryption. Credit card information is not stored
on the Northern Alberta Athletic Association or Oilbarons server.
The server is secured from intrusion both physically and from the internet. We have made all
reasonable efforts to protect the privacy of your personal
information.
Collection and Use
If you have
supported the Oilbarons Dreamhome Raffle in the
past, we thank you for your support. For previous supporters, we
have the contact information we collected from you at the time you
last purchased a ticket. The database of buyer information used
for this purpose was compiled from our previous purchase records,
both on and off line, and contains no financial information.
We do not automatically gather any additional personal
information from you when you visit the site. Personal and
financial information is collected and stored only if you supply
it voluntarily during the process of ordering a ticket.
We do not use tracking cookies of any kind on this
site. We use software that receives and records the Internet
Protocol (IP) address of the computer that has contacted the web
site. This information is not linked to the personal information
that you provide at the time of a ticket order. Otherwise, IP address are not linked to the
identity of individuals visiting the site.
The email
address that you may voluntarily supply in the process of
requesting a ticket will be used for providing receipt and validation
of your ticket order.
Personal information collected will be used to
fulfill ticket orders, contract prize winners and publicize the names of prize
winners.
Disclosure
Information is shared with
and Vandenberg Systems for loading into a lottery management information system used for the purposes of order fulfillment.
Information you provide in your ticket request is accessed, as necessary, by representatives of the Northern Alberta Athletic Association
and our other contracted service providers for the limited purpose of allowing such service
providers to assist us in the administration of the Dreamhome Raffle.
Your personal information is not shared with any other organizations, unless we otherwise have
a legal duty or right. We do not rent, sell, or trade our
customer information.
Retention
Credit card information is
not retained in the web server system. Your contact information
is retained for the purpose of fullfilling your ticket order and
raffle administration.
Disposal
Your contact information
is retained in the database for raffle administration purposes until
such time that you ask it to be removed by phoning 780-791-7262 and requesting
removal.
